Volunteers Needed
The Sussex County Historical Society is seeking volunteers. The Society is operated by volunteers who have a passion for genealogy and history. There area a number of ways you can assists us.
We would like to expand our hours of operation and need people who are willing to learn about our collection and assist patrons who use our library. We are looking for individuals who enjoy meeting and helping others.
We also have a number of collections that we would like indexed and digitized. The work involves handling, organizing and /or scanning archival collections This work is perfect for people who enjoy working with details.
The society also has a need for volunteers who enjoy research and writing. We have a quarterly newsletter, a web page and other outreach functions which offer volunteers an opportunity to participate in our communications activities.
