There are several history related events this weekend in our area.

Wharton Canal Day

The canal day festival is an old time county fair that celebrates the Morris Canal and the contributions to the development of the communities along its banks.

There will be music, boat rides, arts & crafts and food.

Teddy Bear Day

Have your bear and keep him too! Free child’s admission when you bring a teddy bear with you to visit Space Farms!  Child must be accompanied by an adult paid admission. Note: Space Farms does NOT keep the stuffed bears. More details to follow.

Miners Tale performed by Robert Thomas Hughes a lively monologue, weaves the stories of seven characters whose livelihoods depend on anthracite coal mining.  Food will be for sale before and after the presentation.
