Space Farms Junior Zookeeper Day

Date: Saturday July 19, 9:00am-5:00pm

A special day for children 5-15 to assist Zookeeper Lori with daily care of the animals. Learn about animals through hands-on activities and receive a Junior Zookeeper Certificate at the end of the day. Venue has an admission fee.

Cultural Institutions and Emergency Management: Partners in Emergency Response and; Recovery Conference

Date: June 30, 9:00am-4:00 pm
Location: Monmouth University, Woodrow Wilson Hall, West Long Branch, NJ

Fee: $25.00  Registration Required.

Intended for collections care professionals and volunteers, this conference will address important facets of emergency response, as well as building local networks for collaborative mutual aid. Presenters will include first responders and representatives from organizations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the New Jersey Office of  Emergency Management.
